The Shira Centre, North West London, was established in 2002 in response to a growing interest from frum women and girls.

There are different choirs and classes for singers of all ages and abilities, under the dynamic direction of Dena Cohen.

The Shira Centre takes great pride in developing non singers into singers and average singers into fantastic singers!

Under Dena Cohen's sensitive and encouraging guidance, members of the Shira Centre learn to expand their horizons in doing things they never dreamt they could do; singing solos, harmonies, increasing vocal range and learning how to truly enjoy the gift of singing.

This is all done in weekly, stimulating, fun-filled sessions. The choirs practice singing with microphones and professional backing tracks. Members learn to bond together as a group, performing in concerts at home and abroad, and singing in The Shira Centre's own recording studio. These studio recordings have resulted in 2 internationally best-selling albums; Silver Lining & Pulling Strings.

The goal at The Shira Centre is to give members the tools to develop their singing, music, creativity, talent, self-confidence, and general well being though uniting in song.
